Afghan Textbooks for Afghan Students

Welcome!

As you know lack or absence of textbooks in universities is one of fundamental problems which face the students and lecturers with many troubles. They do not have access to new information, and they use old books and notes which are published with low quality.

For resolving these problems, since 2010 we have started publication of textbooks of medicine, engineering, agriculture, Economics and science faculties around the country. So far, we have published 350 different medical and non-medical textbooks (engineering, agriculture, Economics, Education, Journalism & science) for Afghan universities such as Kabul, Nangarhar, Khost, Kandahar, Balkh, Herat, Kapisa, Kabul Polytechnic and Kabul Medical University.

This amount is getting larger and larger since we struggle to collect other works of authors and lecturers of country (either living in or outside the country) and include them in the process of publication.

Dear Lecturers

In order to have an agreement with you (lecturers), before receiving and publishing your books, we send you a form that should be filled. In this form, the name of your book should be written in Pashto/Dari and English languages. Your phone number and email address should also be mentioned in this form. It should be confirmed and signed by you, head of department, dean of faculty, and chancellor of related university.

If you are not a lecturer in university or a person living outside the country, you should only fill the blanks (on the top) which are related to you and the remaining will be filled and processed by us.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that we distribute all the textbooks, free of charge, in universities of country. All published textbooks can be downloaded from (www.ecampus-afghanistan.org/ www.kitabtona.com). Before using this website, you should register yourself on it.

Attached is send you some information (interviews, important points for every author, lists, books’ poster, agreement form and etc.) about this project and our joint efforts with Afghan lecturers.
